It is a premium hand cannon, a great choice for both PVE and PVP. It has great stats across the board and its exotic perk, Paracausal Round, makes the final bullet in the gun do more damage based on how many kills and precision hits you have just pulled off.
Some people were upset that Hawkmoon is no longer the same weapon it was in Destiny 1. Hawkmoon, on the other hand, is possibly the best hand cannon we’ve ever seen, with an extremely lethal Exotic perk and off-the-charts stats. Despite this, Hawkmoon has a clear limitation: it is only consistent if you are consistent.
Hawkmoon’s perk can quickly become OP, and when used correctly, it can turn this Exotic into one of the best weapons in Destiny 2.
